UI Designer CTT
As a user interface designer in the CTT team, you will work on the graphical design, workflows and interaction models that define the user experience. Your mission is to find the best ways to engage the Adobe user community in the collective translation of our products.
About the team
The Collaborative Translation Technology team (CTT) is a software development group whose purpose is to design and build tools and services supporting new and innovative approaches to Globalization. We are at the very heart of the industry, collaborating with experts and industry veterans in defining new standards for delivering multiscreen and cloud based applications to a global audience.
The main product currently developed by the CTT team is an online platform that enables our users to contribute to the translation of Adobe software in new languages. Since our offering is directly targeted at our most involved customers, one of the primary goals is to offer them the best experience possible.
Responsibilities
- Express design concepts at a high fidelity in Fireworks, Photoshop and HTML
- Present designs in a clear, confident and professional manner to a broad audience
- Build working prototypes using HTML/CSS/JS and other tools
- Participate in user research – including interviews, observations and usability studies
- Define user interaction wireframes together with product management
- Can contribute occasionally to the front-end development
- If required, collaborate with other functional groups or teams to ensure project success.
Skills
Must have
- A solid understanding of graphic design fundamentals
- Relevant experience in web design, proven by a solid portfolio
- Interest in user experience design, including interaction design and user research
- Knowledge of HTML and CSS
- Good skills with the Adobe creative tools such as Photoshop and Fireworks.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast moving environment
- Proficiency in spoken and written English.
Nice to have
- Experience with user experience design is a big plus
- JavaScript and other front-end development knowledge
