Adobe is looking for an Engineering Team Lead that will direct a team of top-talent developers and quality engineers within the Digital Marketing team. You will be responsible for collaborating with Product Management and other business-side counterparts to understand product goals and value propositions and then taking specific product features through the entire life cycle. You will manage everything from requirement analysis to delivery, meeting the reliability, performance and quality targets required in our company.

Together with your team, you will contribute to a portfolio of projects. The next version of Adobe TagManager represents a key focus for Adobe’s Digital Marketing products and pivotal change in foundational implementation and management. You will also collaborate on integrating the Digital Marketing Suite products (Site Catalyst, Test & Target, Scene7) into the Day CMS and supporting measurement across various products in Media Solutions (video, advertising and digital magazines).

As a technological leader, you will be responsible for performing appropriate R&D efforts to determine feasibility of future features and the best architecture for the product. You will also have to recruit and mentor people to cultivate top engineering talent in your team, keeping the team motivated and productive.

Responsibilities

• Lead a Software Engineering team to design, enhance, and maintain Adobe Tag Manager, a product critical to the success of Adobe’s Digital Marketing Suite.
• Coordinate and lead the organization and planning efforts of the development team using agile development methodologies.
• Collaborate with U.S. team members to define the direction and architecture for Adobe Tag Manager
• Solve complex business and technical problems involving large-scale client implementations.
• Work with Quality Engineering to design and automate tests for functional and API testing to ensure complete test coverage for all areas of the product with a meticulous attention to detail.
• Ensure the development team is managing and addressing software bugs, writing automated tests, and quickly addressing escalated client issues.

Must have

• Superior problem-solving & analytical skills
• 7+ years experience in internet / web-based software development
• Extensive Experience with JavaScript, AJAX, HTML, and CSS
• Expert in design patterns, distributed systems and caching services
• Experience with Web Services (SOAP and REST)
• Experience with large databases (over 10 Million records)
• Experience architecting highly scalable web applications
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent experience
• Track record of being a top performer in current and past roles
• Must be detail-oriented and very self-motivated
• Willing to work in a highly competitive environment
• Excellent interpersonal skills
